A great educational experience utilizing Bill’s talents as a wildlife artist in capturing the beauty and environment of his subjects along with his drive to make sure of scientific accuracy in his observations. You end up with an overview of the majesty of Alaska and its natural inhabitants in one beautiful picture.
This puzzle comes in a sturdy 9-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 1-3/4” reusable cardboard box with a locking tab. The complete puzzle is shown on the top and the pieces are contained in a resealable plastic bag to keep from loosing pieces for the next assembly. The box contains the updated Map Key showing the plants and animals of Alaska and their common and scientific names printed on a legal size sheet of paper. As to difficulty, this puzzle is likely in the “challenging but not overly difficult” range and with 120 of Alaska’s plants and animals pictured most pieces contain a clue making it super fun! For kids, coupling this puzzle with the smaller 13” x 17-3/4” map and the common names key will allow a great learning experience to be had.
